I was just reading on Wilf's page http://www.user.dccnet.com/wrigter/inde ... XKBDv3.htm the following:
"The PC printer port could easily be replaced by an Apple II keyboard, which also provides parallel ASCII out."
And made me wonder about this Apple ][ clone I have http://www.old-computers.com/museum/com ... ?st=1&c=13 which is a Laser 128ex that I brought at a thrift store in a box a few years ago for $5. I have never opened the computer up to see what it looks like but now I am thinking I may be able to re-purpose it as a TS1000. Wire the keyboard correctly and put a ts1000 with the 64k ram expansion in it.

Hang on ... scratches chin ... is this _the_ Bill H? Of the late TS1000 forums??!
Hmm, certainly this is something like a classic Bill H question ...
If so - hello again!
