Audio Computers Special RAM Pack (1983)

Post by 16kramwobble »

Has anyone had any experience/knowledge of this? It came with 16K RAM and a X-ROMCARD and space for a keyboard sounder (bell). I believe the romcard was EPROM and allowed some sort of saving. Any info appreciated.

Looking at the pictures of the board I cannot fathom where the 16k is coming from and it looks more like an EPROM board than a RAM pack, perhaps someone could explain this to me as I'm not the brightest

There be no RAM (other than the registers in the 8255 PIO chip) on the board in them photos…

Maybe there is supposed to be either a plug in board (daughter board) or some SRAM chips, but they are missing?

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.
