ZXtended 81 nearly there...

Moved this from the Sales thread (I've still got a spare keyboard PCB if anyone is interested)..

So - to to summarise.

First I had some ZX81+38 keyboard PCBs made up..
.. then I decided I wanted to build another Minstrel 3 to use the keyboard
.. then I decided it had to look fairly close to the original - albeit a bit bigger to handle the new keyboard

With a bit of fiddling on Tinkercad I managed to extend a standard case, keeping the motherboard in it's original place, moving the expansion slot accordingly..

So - lots of parts ordered, still arriving (did you know there's a shortage of Z80 processors? I think Lardo's cornered the market! RS are quoting November for delivery now - had to take a chance on ebay..)

A couple of HUGE 3d prints later (26 hours for the case top, 22 for the bottom) - I need to invest in a Creality K1 Max to print bigger and faster.

And here we are.

Motherboard mostly assembled - just waiting on a Traco and the processor.
