Finally, after so many years, the MicroAce

Post by BrunoFlorindo »

I bought it. The gentleman who sold it had no idea what it was. He got it from a car boot / garage sale for $3 a few years ago. I guess more people wanted this, because I had to enter a bid war that ended at $154. I asked for local pickup and the seller (a friendly gentleman in is 50s) accepted. I've been trying to find what happened to MicroAce, the company that built and sold the MicroAce ZX80 clone here in Santa Ana, 28 years ago. The address doesn't even exist anymore and there's no trace of the building besides a parking lot, but I will continue my search to try to find what happened and who the original designers were. Watch this space for pictures of the MicroAce. :D

On a side note I now have a spare TS1000, untested but in excellent cosmetic condition. I'm willing to send it to the first person who PMs me. I just need payment to cover the shipping cost.
