I stand to be corrected, but as far as I know there is no real difference between the issue 1 and issue 3 in operation terms

I thought you were meant to try to talk me into buying a new one, not talking me out of it Anyway, I might buy another one so that I don't need to keep moving my current one between my ZX81s.

Remember that if you have an issue 1 and an issue 3 ZXpand, you can't easily use the same ZXpand-AY module with them - you would ideally want 2 ZXpand-AYs too !

The trouble is that they sell out quite quickly - you are best ensuring you have an account with SellMyRetro.com and go to your profile and add a keyword watch for ZXpand - you will then get an email as soon as any more are listed.
