vLA81 Availability

Post by Bloodnok »

Hi All,

As most will know there have been a few changes to import rules for both the UK and the EU over the past year.

As a result I (and a few other makers) have had to jump through a few hoops in order to keep selling the stuff we make. My eventual response to this was to create two separate online sales channels, one for just the EU and another for the UK and the rest of the world.

These shops both collect VAT at checkout and purchased items (for orders valued at 150 euro or less for the EU or 135 GBP or less for the UK ) should sail through customs without attracting further fees (Note this applies only for the EU/UK - there may be local exceptions to this rule but so far I have had great feedback from orders placed in both the EU and the UK in the past 3 or so months).

If you're in the EU then head on over to: https://www.etsy.com/shop/vRetroDesign

If you're in the UK then please visit: https://www.vretrodesign.com

For the rest of the world you have a choice of either online shop above, as well as Tindie (https://www.tindie.com/stores/charlieingley). Any items purchased through Tindie do not have any tax collected (due to this limitation I will likely drop Tindie in 2022). UK/EU customers please purchase from the shops specifically set up for your region.

I'm still making all the usual lineup - vLA81 + Spectrum ULA replacements and Spectrum/QL accessories(vDriveZX/vDriveQL/vLA82/vLA128/vLA1). If you need more info then go to : https://vdrivezx.com where you'll find the latest manuals, firmware updates and detailed technical information on everything I make.

Feel free to comment or post questions.

Cheers,

Charlie
