Rich, I'll tell You the truth. I surely _am_ interested in the mod and I would choose the "send your computer" option - but the keyboard's ribbon is SO fragile at the moment that it can be destroyed every minute now.
I bought my ZX81 and the keyboard was dead.
We opened it, with my brother, and spent an hour or so, with cuting off next small fragments of the destroyed ribbon, to achieve such a point, in which the keyboard started to work. And You know - ZX81 are rare and expensive here. :) So we were really freaked out while making all the procedure. Repeatedly. ;)
What I mean is - when the ribbon is dead again (will be, sooner or later), I would send You my ZX81 with asking You to make the RGB-Monitor mod and to replace entire keyboard.
Until that time I do NOT open my main ZX81 machine. Never. ;)

Well we don't want to see you go without your ZX81 whilst you are making such wonderful music :D

When you are ready, let me know and you can send it across for us to fit a ZXVid and a membrane.

Not for me... to see what would happen, if Jegs had one... or would it be a waste of time ?

This can be used on any B&W video signal.
Ähmm - have to correct you.
In general it can be used with any (poor) digital 2-color B&W signal (no grey colors supported to be more detailed) but it is useable only with a video signal with a modulated DC voltage like output of the ULA. It is good for use with direct (or "transistor coupled") ULA output from ZX80 or ZX81 I think. ;)
Other systems not tested.
Hi Karl (PokeMon)
I am very interested in buying some of your ZX81CCP (Crystal Clear Picture) PCB's (or kits or completed boards) (http://forum.tlienhard.com/phpBB3/viewt ... =651#p4958).
Depending on price, I would buy between 2 to 4.
Looking forward to hearing more details

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.
