I think it's not worth making an EPROM programmer. A new one for 8-bit EPROM is worth around € 30 on ebay.
I have this (G540):

But this other one I think still works better and cheaper (TL866CS):

But they don't burn 25 and 27 volt Eprom.

He-He mine does, well 21 and 25v 8-)

@Charlie

If the idea interests you Charlie I could bring mine along on Saturday if you fancy copying it.

Works on both zeddy and speccy although I only have the speccy software. :(

G540 can burn 25V EPROM.

You're out of touch good sir knight it takes minutes not a week otherwise I wouldn't bother with it! :lol:

Understand about the projects, these things can drag-on a bit. ;)

it just bothers me that i have 2 great programers that can burn anything but are useless without the software. these programers can burn 4 eproms at a time.... i wish wish wish one of you guys had the software.

searching the internet turned up nothing aside from one site for the sunshine machine... but that software didnt work for one reason or another. what a shame.

the fairy yl23 can also test other chips... but missing software makes it anice door stop.

Hi paul ron im new to this forum im actually from Vogons forum and someone said you could do with some software for the Fairy YL23 I have a floppy with two small programs that might work for your programmer let me know if you need it still or not. I cant contact you by PM I dont know why but if everyone here can tell paul ron what I have for him that would be great or is it ok to use my google drive to post the floppy disks contents as a link or is that frowned apon here?
