Looking for a game developer

Post by Sergeant Thunderhoof »

Hey there, first time posting so please be nice! Haha

I'm in a band called Sergeant Thunderhoof, we play 70s inspired heavy psychedelic rock. I was an avid Speccy fan back in my childhood and I was thinking it would be neat to include a theme based game along with a new album that we're creating. I don't really have any ideas yet, whether it be an arcade style shooter or even a text adventure. There is a story line that goes along with the album in the form of an illustrated comic.

Funds wise, we probably only have about £150 to spend as we've already spent most of our money recording and manufacturing the cd/vinyl etc. But it might be a fun experience for someone who fancies having a go. Happy to credit them in whatever way they want and it'll be released on a physical tape cassette along with the music.

Please hit me up if you're interested.

Thanks
Dan

Welcome Dan.

Supplying a computer game tied into music certainly fits in with what has happened in the past with various games and/or short programs having been released on the back of singles.

The thread probably needs moving - but I guess it depends on whether it should be a ZX81 or a ZX Spectrum game - do you specifically want a ZX Spectrum game?

It would be an idea to link to some of your music to get a taste of the band :)
