Hello all!
Hello all!
Hi,
Old time Sinclair user (not the mag) here. I work in maintaining a collection of microcomputer technologies for a research centre in a university, in addition to having never really quit using any computer I ever owned to make computer graphics and music since my first ZX 48k.
Nice to meet you all!

Re: Hello all!
Hi All! I've arrived from over at Stardot and enjoy the friendliness and support over there too
The research centre collection is just starting its collection but includes several BBC Micros, ZX81s, Spectrums, a Jupiter Ace and other bits and bobs including hundreds of old microcomputer magazines but we are looking to add to this. Personally I have ZX81s, Amigas 500&1200, BBCs, C64, Atari800xls, Spectrum 16k/48k/128k, Intellivision, 2600, Vectrex, Snes, dreamcast, Magnavox, Tomitronics, Colecovision, Acetronic (and lots of synths, video hardware and drum machines) and thats about all I can remember off the top of my head, nothing too exotic, apart from a Fairlight CVI, but lots of fun stuff. I mostly use the non-gaming machines for making computer art, graphics, video and music and am currently building diy speech synthesizers and interfaces for connecting microcomputers to analogue modular synths from circuits that I've found in old magazines. Too much fun and too little time

Hi!
Hi!
Re: Hello all!
To the new forummers!
If you haven't played with a ZX81 since many moons..... then take a look in the games section.
A lot has changed over the last years.
With proper hardware you can even play laserdisc games on a ZX81
Or get stunned by all other games created after your ZX81 started gathering dust.
