[JupierACE] SDHC Card Interface

Post by McKlaud »

Hi All,

Thanks to @roganjosh and his development works described there: https://sinclairzxworld.com/viewtopic.p ... 282#p33284. I am pleased to share with you a video capture of the SDHC Interface in action: 32K RAMpack & SDHC interface (2-in-1)

All credits and big thanks to Alan (roganjosh) for the support.

The second link seems to just mirror the first when I click it?

PCBs for prototype arrived and the first aceXpand is born. First tests done and so far so good, AY chip plays & additional 32KB RAM available as expected. The hardware is nearly completed. More test with various SDHC cards to follow.

Just brilliant, I resorted to a tapeduino (though not had time to test it yet), but this solution makes the Ace much more useable (in the modern, I’ve got no time world).
