A ghost is added after each keypress.

This flickerfree demo is a better test on a real ZX80.

How much RAM does your program need?
1K?
4K?
16K?

Mark
ZX81 Variations
ZX81 Chip Pin-outs
ZX81 Video Transistor Buffer Amp

There are four lights!
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
Looking forward to summer later in the year.

Tried this on real ZX80 wth ZXpand and the result was pretty poor to be honest.

Also there is a pseudo-high-res demo out there for the 80 which I have attached just in case you missed it,which may be of some use.
It was created by nollkolltroll and the relevant thread can be found here..

Screen is set at #6000
So it is 16K for the test.

Perhaps the flickerfreedisplay is an issue.
This version has flicker and when started will not change as long no key is pressed.
Would this give a better screen?

Ok....
I have an idea to fool the hardware. At the cost of 10 columns per row...
Back to the coding that is. And I will make it 1K for testing purpose. Can be extend to a full screen when working.
