Re: 8K Adventure ported to the ZX-81?
Now the big question is...where is Andre's port? He said he made some improvements to the game itself. I'd love to see what those improvements are. And if the game is ready to go yet.

Bonjour Paul,
I keep sending copies, but you don't seem to be getting them. I am sending them at your yahoo e-mail address. Do you have another one? Where must I send them?
Yes my version is running very well with more up to the point answers than the original game. The program is less than 10K and running fast.
I will be sending a copy to my German web site to be spread around.
I'll try to make a French version of your game. Texts are always a major problem in French.
I will be sending a copy to my German web site to be spread around.
I am right now working on speeding up "YATZXEE", the latest game from Stafford White.

Re: 8K Adventure ported to the ZX-81?
Bonjour Paul,
That is my regular web site. There is one in Germany and one in France.
I am great with the Sinclair basic of the ZX81/TS1000, but not so good with the rest. That is why I still have a problem with this forum: I cannot read the text in the blue windows. The text is somehow lower than the writing space. I see only the very top of the words written but not enough to read them. I have to clic on every one before I find the right forum and the right topic I am looking for. Same for the postings, I can see only the first 5 lines. The rest is cut-off.
As for the web sites, the addresses are following my name below. The administrators over there take care of what I send them.
One more news: I started a French version for the ZX81/TS1000.

Bonjour,
Thanks for your reply, but I couldn't read past the 5th line of your posting. Try sending me an e-mail, so I can read the rest. Maybe you have an idea or solution to correct that problem. I tried changing options in my parameters without any positive results.

Andre,
Do you have a link to your port of 8K Adventure to download? I've been interested in checking it out since last week.

Re: 8K Adventure ported to the ZX-81?
Bonjour Xavsnap and Paul,
I already have a new computer but it is not connected to the web. My ZX is (naw, not true).
I am sending a copy now to the German web site. Talking about that game, Xavsnap has added a scolling to my version. I like the scolling effect, but I find it a liittle slow.
Also I must add: I now have a French version of the game. I'll send you a copy Xav.

Re: 8K Adventure ported to the ZX-81?
Hi André and Zx81 fans,
... like a typewriter display...
But, this code destroy the D-File structure (32*0+128 code),
and the CLS had to rebuild the screen.
(like a colapsed d-file on a 1kb computer ... a CLS is slower...)
... A German release ?
Yes, it's a pretty ASM code to displaye a printed line in basic.Xavsnap has added a scolling to my version. I like the scolling effect, but I find it a liittle slow.
